Abstract

The paper considers stellar-inertial navigation systems (Stellar INS) for airborne and ground applications based on strapdown star tracker, strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) and GNSS receiver. Specifications for optical and electronic components of star tracker are defined. Results from ground and onboard tests of Stellar INS model are provided. Various options of SINS stellar corrections are discussed.
