Abstract

The signs are unmistakable: the recovery in the commercial vehicle business has begun. The first suppliers are already coming up against the limits of their capacity that were redefined during the crisis. So is it back to “business as usual”? Certainly not, as Professor Karl Viktor Schaller from the Technical University of Munich suggests in this overview. It is now more important than ever before to develop innovations in safety and Euro 6 exhaust aftertreatment systems. It is no longer a question of choosing between EGR and SCR but rather of combining both systems for all manufacturers and nearly all engines.
