Abstract

Autonomous Driving is one of the most complex problems automotive and high-tech industries are facing today. This presentation first reviews the autonomous driving business landscape. Then it discusses current technologies used in HD mapping, localization, perception, prediction, motion planning and decision. Next, the presentation discusses future technology breakthroughs needed in order for autonomous vehicles to operate efficiently and safely in complex metropolitan areas. Finally the presentation discusses computing platform to support autonomous driving subsystems, AI training, safety and security requirements.
