Abstract

The overall model cars differential modeling in Recompleted through the interface into ANSYS to simulate the transmission planetary gear contact stress at the time of the operation changes, get the gear meshing process equivalent stress contours and contact stress distribution, get the danger zone of the planetary gear tooth root location and is located close to the maximum contact stress node, using the results file in ANSYS fatigue module for automobile differential planetary gear fatigue strength analysis to simulate the fatigue loads and materials the SN curve, fatigue life and times of the planetary gear cumulative fatigue coefficients. Validated under certain torque fatigue resistance of materials with 40Cr for planetary gears, to improve automobile differential planetary gear system life and reliability, improve design quality and reduce design costs and shorten the development cycle, with better engineering practical significance.
