Abstract
Two types of monitoring systems suitable for automatic nuclear reactor control are discussed. In the first system, the detector monitors some given point, such as a preset constant neutron flux. This system is suitable for combining the functions of the period meter and indicator, the power level and criticality of the reactor indicators, and for reactor safety control.
