Abstract

BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) is a widely used standard for modeling business processes. In order to facilitate working with BPMN processes, businesses must be able to exchange process models across applications from various vendors. The vendor-independent BPMN Model Interchange Working Group (BPMN MIWG) is a key part of the Object Management Group's (OMG) interoperability effort. This article proposes a demonstration of BPMN MIWG's methods and tools for semi-automatically testing the interchange capabilities of BPMN-capable business process modelling applications.
