Abstract

In this article, we present a MATLAB program capable of transforming three-dimensional (3-D) models representing metallic bodies of arbitrary shape into wire-grid models accepted by the Numerical Electromagnetic Code (NEC). The NEC is a computer program that allows the electromagnetic analysis of both wires and metallic surfaces using the method of moments. On the other hand, 3-D models can be performed through computer-aided design programs. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Comput Appl Eng Educ 7: 31–43, 1999
