Abstract
FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, welding equipment. SUBSTANCE: automatic welding unit has frame, rotary and driven clamping beds mounted on frame. Rotary bed has drive cylinders and parts support. Welding unit is further provided with assembling device and welding burners. Assembling device is fed toward welding location and retrieved from it by means of positioning device. Rotary and driven beds are provided with stops. Positioning member is secured on rotary bed to be flush with parts support. Assembling device has a set of datuming members and centering prisms mounted on movable cross-piece, which is connected with assembling device, feeding and retrieval device through torsion plates so that centering prisms on cross-piece come into contact with stops on beds to be self-adjusted on them. Torsion plates are made from resilient material. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
