Abstract

For the large-scale renewable energy penetration through power grid in the East China power grid, East China power grid needs the coordinated control scheme of automatic voltage control system (AVC) suitable for renewable energy access. This paper puts forward the zonal reactive power coordination control scheme on the low voltage side of 500kV main transformer, the provincial reactive power coordination optimization scheme on the medium voltage side of 500kV main transformer, and the renewable energy access 500kV station control scheme based on AVC technology. The combined schemes can coordinate the reactive power and voltage controlled by the zonal grid dispatching and the provincial grid dispatching, and can implement the global reactive power optimization of multiple voltage levels, so as to meet the requirements of power grid safe operation with the large-scale renewable energy penetration in the East China power grid.
