Abstract

SummaryThis paper describes a device for the treatment of aqueous lacrimal deficiency. Essentially it is a simple, self‐contained, compact, automatic, gravity‐activated mechanism by which a regular, continuous, controllable supply of aqueous tear‐substitute fluid can be delivered to the conjunctival sacs throughout the whole of each working day in a manner compatible with the normal requirements of an active ambulatory patient.
