Abstract

Direct comparison transfer method is known as the best method with low uncertainty to calibrate of RF power sensors at most of national metrology institute and accredited calibration laboratories. Commercial RF power sensor calibration services have not been started at millimeter wave frequency yet. In order to get ready for commercial service, a software was developed on C# platform for waveguide power sensors between 75 GHz and 1.1 THz frequency bands. In this study, calibration process of RF power sensors at millimeter wave frequencies was described for direct comparison transfer method. Developed software was used to calibrate of waveguide power sensor for WR10 and WR6.5 frequency bands. Uncertainty analysis is done in this study and it is shown that DCTM is applicable to waveguide power sensor calibration with developed software.
