Automatic ration material dispensing system

Abstract

Ration card is an important aspect for every family in order to buy commodities issued by government. It also been used as an address proof and also for the family member details. Automatic ration material distribution is designed to reduce the intervention of humans so that transparency and efficiency can be achieved. The main aspect of this project is to avoid corruption, and to increase the genuinity in the distribution of ration materials. In this paper, proposed an Automatic ration material distribution using RFID (Radio frequency identification) and GSM (global system for mobile) that replaces the ration card with RFID tag. To get materials, customer introduces the RFID tag into the RFID reader. Then the controller checks the customer code and details which is stored in controller database and verifies the password. Once the authentication of the customer is done, customer needs to enter the required material through the keys provided. Once the material dispensed to the customer, the dispensed details will be stored in the database. At the end of the month, sum of ration material dispensed of all the customer will be sent to the government server through GSM technology. The proposed system is implemented with the features that detects tampering as well as fire accidents and gives an alert to provide safety.
