Abstract

The acquisition and processing system of the output signals from the nuclear quadrupole resonance pulse spectrometer is described. The general purpose minicomputer PDP8/L controls the real time accumulations in a Nicolet 1074 averager and the pulse spectrometer incrementations. The results, accumulated in the Nicolet 1074 memory are transferred to the PDP8/L computer for further treatment. The applications of spin-echo envelopes for the NQR studies of T2 relaxation and fine structure are also mentioned.
