Abstract
This paper describes the capabilities and principles of operation of a liquid level transmitter for hazardous areas. The level gauge is designed for technological accounting and control. The block diagram of the level gauge is given. The automatic liquid level meter for explosive zones is designed for operation in explosive zones to measure various levels with appropriate settings, the cost is significantly lower than that of ready-made explosion-proof level meters and has a measurement accuracy of 0.5-1% To measure and control levels, the value of the fitting resistance is calculated, where the main parameters of the fitting is to obtain a 4–20 mA unified signal. The automatic liquid level meter uses the TRM 101 controller-meter. The developed system is aimed at automatic retention of the oil level in the reactor, the main element in the level gauge is a constant resistance of 680 kom. The cost of the level gauge is significantly lower than that of industrial level gauges and it does not require large costs to build a level gauge.
