Abstract

In this paper, an automatic hot-test system designed in developing high average/continuous-wave power gyrotron traveling-wave tube (gyro-TWT) is presented. The system framework and each subsystem including automatic data-acquisition module, antijamming data transmission module, data storage and analysis module, automatic control and protection module, and self-developed software are given in detail. Finally, an experimental example of 100-h-nonstop unattended hot-test experiments for a Ka-band gyro-TWT is given to verify the effectiveness of the automation test system.
