Abstract
With the development of power grids, the demand for large-scale electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulation is gradually increasing. However, there is still a lack of fast construction method for large-scale EMT simulation model. In this paper, an automatic generation method of large-scale EMT simulation cases using transient stability program (TSP) projects is proposed. Aiming at the numerical stability problem of the EMT model caused by some unreasonable parameters, this paper proposes a parameter conversion and verification method for EMT models. Finally, case studies were carried out in a single machine system and a real-life large-scale AC power grid system. The results show correctness of the EMT simulation case generation method proposed in this paper.
