Abstract
Saving lives is a never-ending mission to help others. Individuals suffer because of accidents, and some people die because of them. In those circumstances, the accident-prone sufferers thrive on support and assistance. Emergency services have yet to be controlled and alerted at the appropriate moment when an accident occurs, thus they must be informed. When people use the alert system to warn their loved ones, it can save lives and support them in every way imaginable. This Accident Detection System recognizes the occurrence of an accident based on a variety of inputs, such as a vibration sensor detecting any shaking on the vehicle, indicating that it has been struck by an external object. When the car is tilted through certain angles from its original location on the ground, the accelerometer sensor senses it. The main reason for many of the accidents is that the drivers are under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. The detection of alcohol aids in substantially lowering these figures, thus saving many lives. Through the GSM Module, the alert system sends a message indicating that the vehicle has been involved in an accident, together with the GPS coordinates of the area. If a photo of the surroundings is sent, the accident place can be easily found. The camera module sends a photo of the accident’s surroundings.
