Abstract

This paper demonstrates the design of a robotic system that can traverse along racks and shelves, that allows the access of objects in a more convenient manner. The basic structure consists of a manipulator that can perform pick and place operations whilst traversing along the shelf. This system is designed to move along two axes. The position of the bot is controlled using a webpage or a Wi-fi application on the user’s mobile phone. In a nut-shell, this robotic system helps to create a more organized and user-friendly environment in both commercial and industrialspaces.
