Abstract

Despite guidance from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence encouraging its use, peritoneal dialysis (PD) remains underutilised as a dialysis modality, both at home and in-centre. In this article, Sally Punzalan describes the experience of the Royal London Hospital in using a new automated PD system, when compared with conventional PD.
