DREWS THE AUTHOR:was graduated from Princeton University (B.S. in Engineering) in 1947, and has been employed by Westinghouse since that time. His experience includes twelve years with the Systems Control Department at Buffalo designing various types of shipboard control equipment including submarine and surface ship propulsion control, and specialized motor and generator controls. In 1960 he moved to the Marine Systems Department at East Pittsburgh as project engineer on coordination of marine electrical systems, propulsion drives and centralized engine room controls.
