Abstract
In this contribution we evaluate various feature extractors for the detection of rigid particels in urine sedi- ment phase-contrast micrographs. Therefore, we select one subset of features from each extractor. We use features dis- cribing the image content with the aid of histograms, mo- ments, local spatial gray value distribution, spectral ener- gies and multiresolution features.
