Abstract
1. The described autocollimated angle encoder having the required accuracy (converter discreteness) affords direct conversion of measured angular displacements into binary code transmitted into a digital computer. 2. Operating speed, convenience of digital computer interfacing, construction simplicity, absence of moving elements and units, and consequently stability of the accuracy characteristics, and high reliability allow the autocollimated angle encoder to be used in various branches of industry.
