Abstract

This study explores the publication trends of scholarly papers in Pearl: A Journal of Library and Information Science published from New Delhi. The bibliometric analysis has been conducted with 273 contributions published in the journal during the year 2007–2013. The highest number of contributions, i.e., 47 (17.216%) were published in the year 2009. Most of the contributions are contributed by multiple authors, i.e., 166 (60.806%). The highest number of author productivity, i.e., 89 (1.894) was published in the year 2009. The highest number of contributors, i.e., 119 (23.705%) are from Andhra Pradesh. Maximum studies were conducted in the area of user studies, i.e., 51 (18.681%). The degree of collaboration is determined as 0.608 during the study period.
