Abstract
Thank you for your letter to the Editor regarding our case report “Osteonecrosis after arthroscopic meniscectomy using radiofrequency” published in Volume 20, No 6 of Arthroscopy. As Dr Uribe points out, it is indeed true that the preoperative MRI is a T1 sequence, not likely to reveal pre-existing subchondral edema, but we are limited by the sequences that were performed. Careful review of all cuts showed no pre-existing subchondral abnormalities.
