Abstract
We appreciate the thoughtful review regarding our optimal modeling experience. Despite manual modeling consistently delivering effective curvature correction, there has been increased enthusiasm for other techniques like plication and/or plaque excision/incision and grafting in contemporary practice. As a result, 30% of prosthetic urologists would choose a technique other than manual modeling for residual curvature.1 This shift seems motivated by a desire to achieve instant postoperative arrow straight appearance, rather than trusting the device to additionally straighten the penis over time.
