Abstract

Abstract A range of Australian research concerned with gender in education is reviewed. Despite an increased research investment into issues of schooling, vocational education, teacher‐student interaction and innovative action research, schooling is slow to change its gender bias. Some Australian research does not, however, replicate European findings.
