2.1 Patching an error in Port Phillip Bay, Victoria, SE Australia Following the release of the AUSGeoid2020 model, a number of independent tests – using GDA2020 ellipsoidal heights and levelling data that were not included in AUSGeoid2020 – were conducted by State Government departments to ensure the model was precise and “fit for purpose”.
