Abstract

The family Blattidae is well represented in Australia, numerous genera and species having been recorded, nearly all belonging to the subfamily Polyzosteriinae. Five introduced species occur, all belonging to the subfamily Blattinae. Fifteen species of Polyzosteria are known, three being described as new, namely P. flavomaculosa, sp. nov., P. fulgens, sp. nov., and P. pulchra, sp. nov. A fourth new species is described, but not named owing to paucity of material.
