Santos CEO Kevin Gallagher says Australia’s status as a bountiful and reliable source of gas supply to the hungry, energy consuming hubs of Asia had waned in recent years and it was time for the country to step back up and restore its reputation as a safe and steady, world leading supplier to its nearest neighbours.
