Abstract

The author takes a look at the replacement of older persons, whether in paid or volunteer jobs, from a spiritual perspective as well as on the basis of his experience as a TCI instructor and member of the Ruth Cohn Institute. He attempts to provide a description of the fears surrounding these issues, offers insight into a thematically related TCI course on the topic of growing older and arrives at the diagnosis that the phase following the withdrawl from active professional life is not receiving sufficient attention at the RCI. In conclusion, the potential for development of stronger collaboration between young and old within the RCI is shown.
