Abstract
When siblings are placed in foster care, the question occurs, whether they will be separated in different families or grow up together in one family. Studying the outcome of query-sheets given by siblings, who live together in foster care in one family, and their social parents, it seems to be significant, to formulate some conditions for a successful matching. This includes some conditions concerning the brothers and sisters, their descent families, the foster family, the counselor and the members of the youth welfare office.
