Auguring a Midnight Field Gabriel Dunsmith (bio) One Surprising the stars,a red-winged blackbird bursts up—not as drunk as I. Two Candles, thread, six signs:the farmhouse has yellow eyes,owling the gaunt dark. Three Sidestepping horseshit,I follow headlong the pathlit by the bare moon.
