Abstract
Augmented reality (AR) is a technology offering the simultaneous integration of real-world surroundings and information in the form of audio, video, graphics and other virtual aspects. The AR is being used in various fields of engineering and Dentistry which included speciality level practices. The use of AR in dentistry varies from dental implant placement to orthognathic surgery and recently advancements are enabling in various fields of dentistry in orthodontics, Endodontics, Pedodontics, Periodontics, Surgery, Prosthodontics, Oral-pathology.
