Abstract
This article proposes augmented notes , which extend paper-based notes with virtual ones on multitouch devices. In the Hypertext community, tools for making notes, structuring and sharing ideas have been worked on in several directions. Augmented notes complement existing approaches by transferring paper-based notes to the virtual world using an interaction metaphor that is well-known from the physical world.
