Abstract
Electrohydrodynamic mixing of liquids with differing conductivities through a diaphragm is induced by normal electric field. Mass transfer rates are described by diffusion coefficient proportional to electric pressure/viscosity and are compared with the corresponding rates in a tangential electric field.
