Abstract

Editors' Note: In WriteClick this week, Dr. Nirenberg responds to “Augmentation and impulsive behaviors in restless legs syndrome: Coexistence or association?” with the hypothesis that augmentation in restless legs syndrome may be a forme fruste of dopamine agonist withdrawal syndrome. Authors Djamshidian et al. report no association between augmentation and medication nonadherence, but agree with monitoring these patients closely for addictive behaviors.
