Abstract
Research Implications: Accessible subtitling enables individuals with hearing impairments to access audiovisual content. Practically, subtitlers should not only identify and categorize characters in the audiovisual product but also include crucial information about sound effects to ensure comprehensive understanding. Theoretically, this study lays the groundwork for further exploration into factors such as age and the degree of hearing impairment.
