Abstract

The use of audio-visual materials in the dissemination of agricultural information is an important aspect of extension. The study investigates audio-visual materials usage preference among agricultural extension workers in Rivers state, Nigeria. Data were collected with the aid of questionnaire from 140 agricultural extension agents from the State Agricultural Development Programme. It was found that respondents preferred radio, television, poster, advert, photographs, specimen, bulletin, magazine, cinema, videotape, chalkboard, and bulletin board as audio-visual materials for extension work.
