Abstract

Background: Diabetic lumbosacral radiculoplexus neuropathy (DLSRPN) occurs in approximately 1% of diabetic patients, more commonly with mild type 2 diabetes mellitus. This syndrome is characterized by disabling pain, weakness and atrophy affecting usually the proximal thigh muscles asymmetrically.
