Abstract

WITH the widespread administration of attenuated, live measles vaccine, measles lymphadenopathy will develop in a few children receiving this vaccine. Since there are usually no associated symptoms, and since the lymph-node enlargement occurs approximately three to fourteen days after the administration of the vaccine, the significance of the sequence of inoculation followed by lymph-node enlargement may not be recognized. A diagnostic problem regarding the etiology of the lymphadenopathy may thus arise.
