Abstract
This is an interview with Dr. M. David Rudd, the president of the University of Memphis. This interview describes Dr. Rudd's work, the rewards and challenges of his job, and the pathway to his job. Readers will be inspired by his vision for the university, his ability to build consensus, and his use of psychological skills in overcoming challenges.
