Abstract

Detailed information about the objects, processes and phenomena of transport infrastructure is needed to exploit the opportunities inherent in modern methods, mathematical models, algorithms and control systems of urban transport process. The more complex and functional control methods are used, the more strict requirements are imposed on the control systems and initial data. The paper provides a mathematical model of network-centric zonal transport process control system of the city. The model provides an opportunity to organize an optimal control with adaptation to external environments changes and to make on-time decisions in emergency situations on the basis of knowledge about the dynamic state of control zone. The model describes a set of attributes that characterize the current state of the control zone. Based on these attributes, generated control actions apply to the functional control zone providing traffic flow control implementation. The model is implemented as the software plugin based on the “ITSGIS” intelligent transport geoinformation system. A comparative analysis of the described model with existing analogues is carried out.
