Abstract
Field screening test of 6 octadecadienic compounds and their 45 binary mixtures in a dosage of 0.5 mg/dispenser was carried out in Altai Mountains. Males of 6 Sesiidae species were trapped. New sex attractants were revealed for 2 species: a mixture of E3,Z13-18:OAc and E2,Z13-18:OH in a ratio of 5:5 for Dipchasphecia altaica and a mixture of Z3,Z13-18:OAc and E3,Z13-18:OH in a ratio of 9:1 for Chamaesphecia astatiformis. The ratios of the attractive components preferred by the males of Pennisetia hylaeiformis from the populations of Altai and Germany were slightly different. Reactions to the sex attractants by the males of Bembecia puella, B. scopigera, and Synanthedon scoliaeformis from the populations of Altai and Europe did not differ. B. puella was found in Asia for the first time.
