Abstract

The article characterizes the quantitative composition and forms of social activity of attorneys as representatives of the Samara intelligentsia at the beginning of the 20th century. Based on materials from the personal fund of the attorney at law A.G. Elshin in TsGASO reveals the main directions of his professional and social activities in the Samara province in 1905-1918.
