Abstract
POI has been associated with elevated FMR1 CGG repeat alleles. Limited research exists on attitudes about FMR1 premutations (FXP) among reproductive age women with no family history of Fragile X Syndrome (FXS). This study assessed pretest perceptions of being a carrier of an FXP (>55 CGG repeats) compared with perceptions after learning they did not carry the FXP.
