The man method was the method of questionnaire. Research group consisted from 447 pupils in the city of Žilina and its surroundings. We found out that in the group of primary school pupils there is a domination of indifferent attitude towards the physical education. Comparing the researches of Gorner and Starsi (2001) and Bartik (2009), the number of students with a positive attitude decreased significantly. The level of negative attitudes from the perspective of intersex differences is almost the same.
