Abstract

Here is a study of attitudes and personality factors against the background of participation in the Hungarian uprising of 1957, as revealed by male Hungarian refugees in the United States. Dr. Henry Gleitman is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Swarthmore College. Dr. Joseph J. Greenbaum is Associate Professor of Psychology at the Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research in New York.
