Abstract

The paper discussed that visual impairment is often associated with economic, educational, social and political disadvantages. Also discussed attitude as the way we feel about something or someone, a particular feeling or opinion which can be negative or positive in our society. It was also explained that visual impairment, loss, is a decreased ability to see to a degree that causes a lot of problems. It was also discussed that the attitude of the society towards people with visual impairment seems to be dynamic as different persons view this people due to either the circumstances, or event surrounding their meeting. The paper concludes that the attitude of the society toward persons with visual impairment change ranging from the hospital personnel, the bankers, the business women and men, the non-governmental organization, marriage institutions and transportation.
