Abstract

The main objective of the present research was to study the attitude of parents towards pre-school education. The sample comprised of 100 parents out of which 50 male and 50 were female. For the present study an attitude scale entitled ‘Parental Attitude Scale towards Pre-School Education’ developed and standardized by S. Venkatesan was used to meet the objectives. The investigator used percentages in order to analyze the collected information. The overall results revealed that parents are very anxious regarding the future of their wards and have favourable attitude towards the pre-school education of their children.
