Abstract
The attitude determination and control system (AOCS) is one of the essential subsystems that comprises of the attitude determination system (ADS) and the attitude control system (ACS). The AOCS is used to analyze, determine and stabilize the satellite or High Altitude platforms (HAPs). Attitude control system is required for the precise measurement and communication with the earth station with satellite. In this paper, we analyzed and presented the attitude determination system using Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) based attitude determination system for HAPs, and also presented the a comparative analysis to estimate the position of the HAPS using stand alone global positional (GPS) data and fused inertial navigation(INS) data and the global positional (GPS) data.
